Hive strategy
Hunt the pangram first
Scan the seven letters for a plausible suffix — ING, TION, ABLE — and try to build around it. Finding the pangram early usually unlocks several shorter words that share its stem.
Work in prefix families
Once a word scores, immediately test its relatives: RE-, UN-, -ED, -ER, -S where allowed. Batch-testing a stem is far more productive than jumping between unrelated ideas.
Say the letters out loud in pairs
Most missed words come from letter combinations you never attempt. Pronouncing pairs surfaces clusters like CH, TH and GL that your eye skips on a hexagonal layout.
